Simple cross slide mod using a mill table from LMS (http://lmscnc.com/1664). I removed the compound and used the swivel disk (the thing the cross slide tightens to) for two of the mounting screws and the other two I drilled and tapped for 1/4-20 cap screws.
To prepare the t-slot mill table for this I had to cut off approx 3.35" off of the length to make it 6" and drill (and countersink) the holes for the screws.
Currently there's only a simple tool holder, for now that's sufficient for my needs. I guess I should've brushed it off before taking these pix! The rear splash guard was already off, the old compound kept hitting it.
