| Designed for the 8x12 Harbor Freight lathe, this tool will calculate the the various gear combinations for cutting threads. Just like making change for a dollar, there are many combinations that give you the same results. Some of the metric pitches can give over 400 combinations due to there not being an exact match. The matches shown will have an error of 0.001 mm or less. This tool will limit the combinations given to the smallest error and when there are too many there will be no more than 10 combinations involving the same gear 'B'.
